Scheduling WorkKeys® Assessments
There are nine Job Center WorkKeys® test sites. Job Seekers need to schedule WorkKeys® Assessments with the Job Center test site. Allow at least one hour for each WorkKeys® skill assessment required to earn a career readiness certificate (e.g. Reading for Information, Locating Information, Applied Mathematics, etc). A five to ten minute break will be provided between assessments.
It is recommended that job seekers allow sufficient time to use the pre-assessment courseware program prior to taking the WorkKeys® assessments. WIN and KeyTrain are self-paced courseware available at all Alaska Job Centers to prepare for the ACT WorkKeys® skill assessments. WIN/KeyTrain courseware allows job seekers to practice the foundational skills that are tested on the WorkKeys® assessments.
